Shalom Bayit

Shalom Bayit (Peace in the Home)

Shalom Bayit means peace in the home. The Shalom Bayit Program provides counseling support and guidance for individuals who are facing physical, emotional or sexual abuse and for those who have experienced abuse in the past.

Shalom Bayit works to dispel the MYTH that abuse does not occur in Jewish homes and to educate the community about the existence of abuse in all religions, economic groups, educational levels, and lifestyles.

If you are currently in an abusive relationship, or if you have been abused in the past, you are not alone. Shalom Bayit counselors may be able to help.

We provide short and long-term direct assistance for safety and healing, including: Individual Counseling, Safety Planning, Referrals and Support Groups.

Shalom Bayit serves individuals, families and children of all ages who have been impacted by abuse. We also provide counseling for adults working towards healing from childhood abuse or other types of violence and abuse.
