The mission is clear cut to help people and we try to find ways that we can do this and break the cycle of poverty for some families.

On a daily basis, I witness people going the extra mile. My colleagues go out of their way to step up and to make a difference for the clients and for each other. But one example that comes to mind is how much time, thought, concern, and leadership went into making sure we were all safe during the pandemic. They were quick to get the information they needed to make policy changes for things occurring at our office, and to supply us with what we needed to do our jobs remotely. Our agency has also provided us with weekly on site opportunities for covid testing and vaccinations for ourselves and our families. I think many of the decision that were made early on during the pandemic gave us a sense of safety and security that helped all of us have what we needed to be able to then take care of our clients.

JF&CS cares about their staff which helps staff provide the best care and service delivery to clients.

JF&CS meets the immediate needs of the community. But they take care of their staff as well.

Clinicians are empowered to create programming that meets the needs of specific client populations. Trainings in specific, clinician-directed areas are encouraged.
