Stepping Stones

Parenting preschoolers can be a challenge! JF&CS is here to provide support to parents through our new educational and fun program, Stepping Stones. Our Stepping Stones program is facilitated by four of our expert clinicians, and helps parents navigate the journey of raising a preschooler by promoting play and learn therapy and providing practical solutions to everyday challenges.

The Stepping Stones group is for children aged 2 and a half to five years old and their parents. Topics learned include:

- Parenting the developing brain

- Emotional regulation and temperament

- Concepts to promote resiliency

- Schedules, routines, and rituals

The Stepping Stones group is facilitated by our Horwitz-Zusman Child & Family Center clinicians.
