One Good Deed Friendly Visitor Program

This program offers:

• Matching seniors with volunteers for social interaction and enrichment
• Volunteers provide recipients with companionship, encouragement and friendship
• Volunteers and recipients enjoy activities like shopping, running errands, cooking together, and enjoying an afternoon out

Program Details:

• For older adults 65+ living independently in their own homes or in an independent living facility
• Volunteers make a one-year commitment to visit twice monthly, and many matches go beyond one year
• One Good Deed staff meets with recipients in the comfort of their own homes to make the most personalized and intentional volunteer match possible
• One Good Deed has a service area of approximately 15 miles / 20-25 minutes from Dunwoody, Georgia. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that everyone who applies will be approved for services.
