Memory Support

Brain Health Bootcamp

Join a Fun, Social Class to Strengthen Your Mind and Body to Stay Sharp!

With age serving as the greatest risk factor for cognitive impairment or memory loss, JF&CS is taking action with the Brain Health Bootcamp. The first of its kind in Atlanta, it is designed to provide memory enhancement techniques through cognitive stimulation, physical exercise, education, and socialization.

Our program helps those recently diagnosed with cognitive impairments, or those who are recognizing symptoms of early memory loss, through cognitive and physical exercise and socialization. Brain Health Bootcamp is also a great opportunity to connect with others experiencing similar situations.

Brain Health Bootcamp uses an evidence-based approach. Research has shown that when cognitive, physical, and social activities are performed on a consistent basis, overall cognitive function may improve and/or be maintained.

Led by trained professionals with specialties in the field of aging, instructors lead small groups through meaningful brain and body exercises and provide take-home exercises that can reinforce what is taught in class.
