Tamara Greenberg decided to go back to school in 2020 and complete a master's in counseling as her third career. Tamara has over 20 years of experience supporting personal growth, behavioral change, and emotional wellness. She specializes in working with adults and adolescents navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, eating disorders, and relationship challenges. Tamara brings a compassionate, curious, and collaborative presence to therapy, helping clients explore identity, build resilience, and create meaningful change.
Tamara completed her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University and gained clinical experience at Jewish Family & Career Services, where she provided individual counseling to diverse populations across the lifespan. Her integrative approach draws from trauma-informed care, Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness, somatic practices, and person-centered therapy.
Before entering the counseling profession, Tamara spent two decades in corporate education, executive coaching, and wellness leadership. She is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach through Co-Active Training Institute and an Intuitive Eating Counselor trained by Evelyn Tribole. She also founded a wellness coaching practice focused on emotional eating, body image, burnout, and life transitions.
Tamara believes deeply in each person’s capacity for healing and growth. She partners with clients to cultivate self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and discover their authentic selves—creating a therapeutic space that is supportive, empowering, and grounded in hope.
