The One Good Deed Dementia Support Program connects trained volunteers with seniors living with dementia to provide meaningful conversation, companionship, and music-based engagement. Together, we create moments of joy and connection—while giving caregivers the time and space they need.

Are you seeking real-world experience with older adults - as a student, a young professional, or someone who cares deeply? The One Good Deed Dementia Support Program offers an opportunity to make a genuine difference while developing skills for your future.

What you’ll receive:
- Specialized dementia and music-engagement training
- Academic credit or supervised field hours (where applicable)
- Ongoing peer support and mentorship

Commitment:
- One year
- 2 hours, twice a month

Caring for someone with dementia is meaningful—and demanding. Our trained volunteers provide one-on-one visits filled with conversation, companionship, and music-based activities proven to improve mood and spark memory.
While your loved one is engaged, you’ll have time to rest, recharge, and know they’re in safe, caring hands.

Program Details:
- Two visits per month, 2 hours each
- Volunteers trained in dementia care and communication
- Supported by JF&CS professionals and music therapy specialists
- Available for older adults living at home with a caregiver
