About Lori Wilson Ph.D.

Lori has an extensive background and experience that encompasses topics such as attention deficit disorder, dyslexia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, learning disabilities, social skill weaknesses, executive functioning, parenting strategies, as well as the neuropsychological and emotional effects of medical disorders such as traumatic brain injuries and epilepsy. As a part of her psychoeducational evaluations, she draws attention to the importance of classroom observations and child feedbacks and underlines it as an integral part of the evaluation process at JF&CS.

Bio

Lori earned her master’s degree in education and her doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Virginia. She completed her clinical child internship at the University of Maryland Medical System and a pediatric neuropsychology fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC.

On June 1999, Lori joined the JF&CS family. She provides psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations to assess cognitive, academic and socio-emotional strengths and weaknesses in children.
