Bio

Vivienne has been at the heart of the One Good Deed Friendly Visitor program since 2013, guiding it with a deep sense of compassion and commitment to the wellbeing of older adults and volunteers alike.

Vivienne champions the power of community by engaging dedicated volunteers who generously give their time to offer companionship, connection, and emotional support. This isn’t just a role Vivienne performs; it’s a calling she lives. Her work centers on fostering meaningful, lasting relationships that ease loneliness and isolation for seniors who are facing profound loneliness and social isolation.

Since One Good Deed joined JF&CS in 2016, Vivienne has valued the strong collaboration with clinicians, case managers, and social workers across the agency. With the support of a large, mission driven organization, she has helped expand the program’s reach and deepen its impact across the community.

Vivienne also plays a key role in integrating the Dementia Respite Program, an innovative initiative funded by the Alzheimer’s Association. This collaborative effort between One Good Deed and the Memory Support Program at JF&CS, trains volunteers to provide meaningful enrichment for people living with dementia while offering essential respite to their care partners. This initiative unites the strengths of One Good Deed and the Memory Support Program, enhancing the continuum of support that Vivienne is both proud and humbled to help provide.
