Before coming to JF&CS, she worked at Long Island Jewish Hospital-Northwell as a Medicaid Investigator processing nursing home Medicaid applications. She interned at Women’s Resource Center and Sacred Journey Hospice as an Intern Social Worker, worked as an activity director at Gardenia Assisted Living, and an Intensive Support Coordinator for the IDD population ages 25 – 86 to provide placement and resources, develop annual Individual Service plans (ISP), and monitor health and welfare of participants.
Personal Statement: I find gratification and fulfillment in making a difference in the elderly life by assisting with independence to remain in their own home, navigating services within their communities and linking lonely seniors with our One Good Deed program.
My favorite quote “Fight for things you care about but do it in a way that will lead others to join you,” Ruth Bader Ginsburg
