About Ernest Ball Food Pantry Coordinator
Ernie's focus is on the day to day operations- communicating with the volunteers, making sure there is enough help on pantry days and that the volunteers know their role for the day when they arrive. He helps with receiving and distributing incoming deliveries, and outgoing deliveries, as well as stocking shelves. Ernie projects daily demand and adjustes inventory as needed.
Bio
Ernie Ball has lived all over the south but has called Atlanta home for a decade now. He is an avid sports watcher, coffee drinker, and proud dog owner. He spends his spare time trying new recipes in the kitchen and planning incredible hikes with his wife. He has a background in inventory management, customer service and hospitality from the private sector. His passion has always been to make a difference in peoples lives which drew him to non-profits where he has experience in shipping and receiving management, operations management, and volunteer services. He is happy to be on the JF&CS team and to help the Kosher Food Pantry grow.
