Shari Kasten has served as the Shalom Bayit Program Administrator for the past seven and a half years at Jewish Family & Career Services (JF&CS), where she supports the clinical staff working under the Shalom Bayit grant. She began her journey with the agency as a volunteer in Intake, where she was inspired by the commitment and impact of its clinical services. Motivated to become more involved, she joined JF&CS as a backup receptionist in the clinical department on an as-needed basis and later applied for the Administrative Assistant role for the Shalom Bayit grant.
Shari has quickly developed a deep appreciation for the vital work of the Shalom Bayit team, which supports individuals experiencing physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, as well as those healing from past trauma. In her current role as Program Administrator, she plays an integral part in ensuring the program runs smoothly, providing consistent support to both clinicians and clients. Her path reflects a strong commitment to the mission of JF&CS and a passion for helping others access meaningful, life-changing services.
