Raizel provides individual psychotherapy for adults across the lifespan who are navigating life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, relationship challenges, family conflict, domestic violence, and identity exploration. Her clinical approach is collaborative and compassionate, grounded in deep respect for each client’s inner wisdom and inherent self-worth. Raizel creates a reflective, compassionately curious, and nonjudgmental space where clients can safely explore patterns, deepen insight, and reconnect with their agency and resilience. She integrates evidence-based, experiential, and creative modalities tailored to each client’s needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), existential psychotherapy, sand tray, and art-based interventions.
Raizel holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work, along with a certification in Creative Arts and Healing. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and has experience in anxiety research and mindfulness at George Mason University. Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Raizel brings a strong mind–body perspective to her work, informed by her background as a yoga instructor, life coach, and community educator. She has worked in trauma-informed settings with clients from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds and believes deeply in each person’s capacity for growth, meaning-making, and self-actualization.
