About Lauralee Bernstein MS
Lauralee’s prior experience includes working at an inpatient hospital psychiatric unit, at an after-school community center for children, and a career assessment program for teens and adults. In 1995, she joined JF&CS and dedicated ten years to career counseling, vocational evaluations, and supervising the career counseling department. In 2005, she transitioned into the agency’s psychoeducational evaluation department. Currently, she works with a team of psychologists to provide comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults. As a psychometrist, Lauralee conducts a variety of assessments with clients to help evaluate their cognitive, academic, and social-emotional strengths and weaknesses.
Bio
After earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Tufts University, Lauralee completed her master's degree in counseling/education at Saint Louis University. She completed internships at McLean Hospital’s psycho-educational program in Boston and at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis Counseling Center.
