Jake Freishtat is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) who specializes in treating adults of all ages focusing on anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Jake utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy techniques while working with his clients to help them understand their needs and solve their problems. He focuses on working with clients to build strong relationships to create an environment where the client will feel comfortable voicing their concerns and focus on creating solutions to solve their problems effectively.
Jake received his Undergraduate degree from High Point University in Human Relations and his Master of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia. Jake has experience as a case manager for adults in rehab and families in a homeless shelter. Before coming to JF&CS, he spent a year working as a Registered Behavior Technician using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to treat kids with Autism.
