Helen Kotler, Ph.D, LPC

Helen has worked in Atlanta with JF&CS for 15 years and for 20 years she was a private practice counselor in Connecticut. Prior to joining JF&CS, she was a Clinical Director of Connecticut Counseling Center, a methadone maintenance program, and was a clinician at Waterbury Hospital in Merriman Hall, a locked psychiatric inpatient unit.

Helen was a frequent guest on WATR radio, a call-in show. Additionally, she was an award-winning hostess on a weekly television show called ‘Life Styles with Helen Kotler.’ She has an extensive educational background as has earned the following titles: Ph.D. Education at Boston University, BS Education and Psychology, Southern Connecticut State University, MS Counseling, and Sixth Year Supervision and Heed University, Ph.D. Psychology.
