She was born in Manchester Connecticut and attended Boston University 3 years then got BS in Education at Southern University in New Haven CT and a Sixth year in Administration and Supervision. A PHD at Heed in Florida was in Psychology. She taught Elementary school in Southbury Ct then was Clinical Director of a Methadone Center, worked in Waterbury Hospital in a locked Suicidal Unit and had a Private Practice in Simsbury and Waterbury CT. 6 years when she moved to Atlanta and had a private practice and 22 years at JFCS including the present. She has done a lot of Public Speaking, had a TV show and did Radio. At present she does Counseling for individuals, couples, families and a divorce support group.
