Bio

Grace's social work experience began when she was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Namibia. As a volunteer, she worked with a hospital social worker to address issues on food insecurity and youth development. Following her AmeriCorps experience, she worked at New American Pathways, a refugee resettlement agency as their Young Women’s Leadership Program Coordinator to guide refugee young women on health education, academic success, female empowerment, career exploration, and connect them to social services. After working with New American Pathways, Grace then worked with another refugee resettlement agency, the International Rescue Committee in Atlanta as the Reproductive Health Program Coordinator and worked with refugee young adults to increase their access and education to reproductive health services. She plans to apply her experience and expertise to support JFCS clients on a full range of social and financial services.
