Tamaira Shinnick, LMSW

Tamaira is a therapist, a listener, and someone who genuinely believes that the right support can make all the difference. She works with kids, teens, adults, and parents who are carrying things that feel too heavy, such as anxiety, trauma, big emotions, and hard seasons of life.

In her sessions, she meets each person where they are. With kids and teens, that might mean through art, playing, creating, or building in a sandbox. With adults and parents, it might look like finally having a space to process what's been weighing on them. She draws from EMDR, IFS, CBT, play therapy, sand tray, and expressive arts.

Clients can count on Tamaira to listen, to help regulate when things feel like too much, to provide tools for soothing and grounding that can actually be used in real life, and connect clients with resources that support their journey. She will create a space where every person can show up fully and authentically as themselves.
