Susan received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Georgia State University and her Bachelor’s Degree in English from Loyola University of Chicago. She also worked for more than 20 years as a professional health and wellness writer — creating countless articles, blogging, and generally helping others find ways to live well in all aspects of their lives, from the physical and psychological to social and spiritual.

She brings this holistic approach to counseling, with a humanistic and strengths orientation, believing every client is innately whole and meant to thrive, not just survive. Susan often uses mindfulness, cognitive therapies and a good sense of humor in her work, and loves helping clients find new ways to reach their goals that are specific and meaningful to them.
