About Keith J. Myers, PhD, LPC, ACS Managing Director of Clinical Services
Keith is an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). He received his PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision at Mercer University and a post-graduate certificate in working with survivors of violence, trauma, and torture from the University of Maryland. He has a Master's in Community Counseling from Southeast Missouri State University.

Keith is an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). He received his PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision at Mercer University and a post-graduate certificate in working with survivors of violence, trauma, and torture from the University of Maryland. He has a Master's in Community Counseling from Southeast Missouri State University.
Keith has worked in the clinical mental health counseling profession for nearly 22 years. He recently helped launch a community mental health clinic in East Cobb before joining JF&CS. He is a former associate professor of counseling and former dean. He regularly works with veterans and their families, first responders, and couples. Most of his research about military clients culminated in the co-authoring of his recent book — Counseling Veterans: A Practical Guide — by Cognella Academic Press (2021). He has a passion for leading and supporting clinicians and is excited to be at JF&CS with such a history of clinical excellence!
