About Howard Schub, M.D. Neurologist
Howard Schub, M.D. is a child neurologist who has practiced in Atlanta since the 1980’s.
He has practiced the full spectrum of child neurology and has been chief of neurology and and an active staff member of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) for many years. His special interests and expertise are in developmental disabilities, child and adult ADHD, child learning and emotional disorders, and pediatric movement disorders (tics/Tourette Syndrome). Dr. Schub is pleased to provide an integral medical component to the expanding evaluation and treatment programs at the Horowitz-Zusman Child and Family Center of JF&CS.
Bio
Howard Schub, M.D. is a child neurologist who has practiced in Atlanta since the 1980’s.
Dr. Schub attended Cornell University (A.B. psychology), University of North Carolina School of Medicine (Morehead Foundation Fellow in Medicine). He trained in pediatrics at the University of Rochester and in child neurology at Emory University. He was a full time faculty member at Emory’s Department of Pediatrics before beginning the private practice of child neurology in 1984. He founded and led Child Neurology Associates (1984-2011) and the Atlanta Southeast Center for Epilepsy and Neurodevelopment (ASCEND) (2012-2020). He was the Director of Medical Services at Marcus Institute/Autism Center (2001-2008).
