Bio
Gilda, a New Orleans native, graduated from Clark Atlanta University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology mid-2014. Soon after, she obtained her Master's in Health Administration and completed the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Emory University. Gilda is a wife and mother who adores her family. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, shopping and making memories with her family. As a child, she dreamed of becoming a Veterinarian. She frequently volunteered at many Animal Hospitals and shelters throughout High School. Soon after graduation, she found what she thought was the start of her dream job at an animal hospital. However, her aspirations shifted after caring for her grandfather during his battle with cancer and end-of-life transition. During this challenging time in her life, she realized she was extremely passionate about helping others, though her love for animals has never ceased! She comes to JF&CS with nearly a decade of experience in many different positions, including direct patient access, administration, and management. Gilda advocates for her team and values equality in her work environment.
