About Alyssa Lebowitz, LMSW
Alyssa Lebowitz is a Licensed Master Social Worker who works with clients struggling with a dual diagnosis through the HAMSA program, as well as teens and adults struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship struggles and life transitions.
Bio
Alyssa is an Licensed Master Social Worker, currently in the process of obtaining her Licensed Clinical Social Worker Certification. Alyssa completed both her undergraduate and graduate degrees at The University of Pittsburgh. She has worked in various settings, including hospital clinic settings, Intensive Outpatient treatment centers and outpatient/private practice settings.
Alyssa's focus when working with clients is to build a strong foundational, therapeutic alliance. She aims to build trust and connection from early on in the therapeutic process. Alyssa then works intentionally with clients to identify their needs and then work towards relief, clarity or reducing uncomfortable symptoms. She utilizes various modalities based on client preference, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy.
It takes immense courage to reach out for help and allow for vulnerability. Alyssa is dedicated to supporting each of her clients in their journey towards true fulfillment and clarity.
