Kama-Charmagne Mott is a Geriatric Care Manager with 30+ years of experience working in the field of Gerontology. Her lifelong mission is to serve older adults, and to ensure that they age as they choose, and have a voice.

Bio
Kama-Charmagne Mott brings over 30 years of experience working in the field of aging. She studied Sociology at Hampton University and received her Master of Science in Gerontology from the University of Southern California. She is passionate about being an advocate for older adults and their families.
Her depth of care experiences have focused on connecting a diverse and inclusive community of older adults with needed supports and services in both Georgia and California. She’s worked in a variety of work settings including nursing homes, HUD senior housing, social services organizations, and various nonprofit organizations. She is a seasoned support group facilitator and has presented nationally to aging professionals on issues related to aging, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, boundaries, and ethics. She is a member of The American Society on Aging, and Leading Age Georgia. She is Eden at Home Certified, a graduate of the Leading Age Leadership Academy, and is CACTS certified. She is the former Vice President of The Georgia Chapter of the American Association of Service Coordinators.
