Brennen Joseph works as a Community Clinician to provide a variety of services including, but not limited to, individual sessions, support groups, and ongoing mental health support through partnerships with local synagogues.
She has years of experience working with Anxiety, Depression, Mood Disorders, Eating Disorders, body acceptance, self-esteem, grief & loss, chronic illnesses, and life stressors.
Brennen earned her undergraduate degree at Tulane University with a major in psychology and a minor in sociology. She graduated with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Clemson University. During Brennen’s graduate studies, she provided services at Atlanta Center for Eating Disorders and Eating Recovery Center, The Carolinas. Following graduate school, Brennen has held positions diversifying her skills in a group practice setting and medical outpatient settings.
She is an integrative and collaborative counselor, incorporating different approaches based upon the needs of individual clients. Therapy may include cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment skills, and solution-focused techniques. Brennen is passionate about supporting others to achieve overall well-being and to enjoy a higher quality of life.
