About Waverly Sweat, M.A Clinician
Waverly believes therapy should be a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and accepted for who they are. She views therapy as an opportunity to build meaningful connection, explore what may be holding clients back, and create lasting change. She believes healing is an act of defiance—one that requires both courage and vulnerability.

Bio
Waverly believes therapy should be a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and accepted for who they are. She views therapy as an opportunity to build meaningful connection, explore what may be holding clients back, and create lasting change. She believes healing is an act of defiance—one that requires both courage and vulnerability.
Waverly obtained a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Agnes Scott in May of 2026. Her experience has allowed her to work with clients ranging from adolescents to older adults, though she has a particular passion for working with teens and young adults as they navigate the unique challenges of growing, changing, and discovering who they are. Waverly strives to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment where clients feel safe to show up as their authentic selves. Her approach is collaborative and individualized, as she believes therapy should meet clients where they are rather than follow a one-size-fits-all approach.
Waverly especially enjoys supporting clients as they navigate anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, life transitions, and the many pressures that can come with adolescence and young adulthood. Her background working with children, adolescents, and families has shaped the way she connects with clients and deepened her understanding of the importance of feeling genuinely supported and understood. She believes asking for help is a sign of strength and feels honored to walk alongside her clients as they build self-awareness, develop healthy coping skills, and work toward a life that feels more fulfilling and authentic to them.
