Maurisa is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has provided individual, group & family therapy at residential facilities, community programs, and her own private practice. She helps clients manage issues related to anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, grief & loss, family dynamics, healthy lifestyle, life transitions, relationships, etc. While she has training in a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, Maurisa personalizes therapy to best fit the unique needs of each client. She focuses on building a strong and trusting relationship in a warm and compassionate environment, allowing clients to openly share and have a voice that is respected and heard. Therapy will explore ways to empower oneself in a safe and nurturing environment.
