Lemonade FUNraiser
Lemonade FUNraiser | June 20 – September 10, 2023
Host a lemonade stand with your friends and family this summer to support JF&CS! You can raise fun & funds for a program of your choice.
Here are the causes you can support:
Children’s Mental Health – Mental health is just as important as your physical health. The Horwitz-Zusman Child & Family Center is helping kids, teens, and families with their emotional and social well-being. Your support allows us to continue providing therapy and resources that strengthen children’s mental well-being.
Older Adults – As people get older, they need more help from their families and community to do everyday activities. JF&CS connects older adults to needed healthcare and social services, financial assistance, and companionship so they feel less lonely. Your support allows us to continue helping older adults, including Holocaust Survivors, and ensures they do not feel alone.
Adults with Disabilities – Our Community Access and Independent Living Programs help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with daily activities, to live more independently, and participate in community activities. Every person is different, but some adults need help with getting dressed, personal hygiene, getting a job, or communicating. Supporting this program, allows us to continue helping adults with disabilities live their best lives.
Dental Hygiene – JF&CS has a dental treatment facility called the Ben Massell Dental Clinic where we provide free dental care for people in need. We make sure that people have healthy, bright smiles so they are more confident and comfortable. Supporting the dental clinic means that you are helping to bring healthier smiles to people in need.
Food Insecurity – Some families don’t know where their next meal is coming from. The JF&CS Kosher Food Pantry serves 140-170 households per week providing Kosher and non-Kosher food options, fresh produce, baked goods, meat, frozen foods, and pantry items. The pantry relies on donations, so your support means that families in need can continue to get groceries.
