Caregiver Support
JF&CS provides a wide range of Caregiver Support including weekly support groups. Check our Event Calendar for upcoming group meetings.
Counseling Services
JF&CS provides counseling services are for people of all ages and from all walks of life. We provide guidance and support for children, adolescents, adults, older adults, couples and families. We offer both individual and group therapies across a broad spectrum of issues – from divorce and bereavement to anxiety and depression. Learn more about our Counseling Services.
Geriatric Care Management
Many of our clients are juggling a career and other family needs – while also trying to give care to those who love them. Some of our clients simply live too far away to help them meet daily requirements. For both short-and long-term needs, and a better quality of life, GCM of JF&CS is your go-to destination. Case Management
We provide assistance for caregivers and their loved ones through information and referrals, financial assistance, support groups, and hands-on help to access community resources. Free of charge for qualified participants. Learn more about our Case Management services.
One Good Deed
Since 2006, One Good Deed has carefully matched more than 400 older adults with community volunteers. These friendly visitors bring companionship and joy to seniors in our community. Our mission is to reduce loneliness, help older adults maintain their independence, and remain in their own homes. Learn more about our One Good Deed program.
Transportation Services
For a moderate fee, Alterman/JETS provides transportation for older adults and individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Our professional and compassionate drivers take clients to doctor appointments, social outings, and to and from work. Wheelchairs, walkers, and canes are happily accommodated. Psychoeducational Testing
Psychoeducational assessments help us gain an understanding of a child's cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral functioning. They are useful in detecting learning disabilities and/or the presence of ADHD as well as any emotional factors that may be influencing your child's ability to learn to their full potential. Testing also identifies areas of strength and weakness and includes specific recommendations geared to your child's needs at home and at school.
