Jon Amsler

Jon Amsler, Board Chair 2023-2025, first joined the JF&CS Board of Directors in 2017. He was elected Vice Chair in 2021, and led the strategic planning process for the agency in 2022. He has used his expertise in technology to improve essential technology functions at JF&CS.

Jon is the General Manager for Green Lighting Group, an Alaska Native Company lighting distributor for the commercial and industrial markets. A veteran with 25+ years of information technology experience, Jon has held numerous positions in management, operations and consulting. Jon was GM at Stony River Technologies (SRT) and VP & GM at Qivliq Commercial Group (QCG). Both SRT and QCG were two of the largest Apple Professional Services Provider organizations in the U.S. As a founding officer at both, Jon built them from the ground up to have a client and project list including: Apple (including work for the School District of Philadelphia), U.S. Army, Pentagon, NASA, CBP, TSA and the Department of State.

Prior to joining QCG, Jon co-founded and was SVP of Product Development for a cutting edge source code inspection company, Reflective. Before Reflective, he was CIO and global knowledge management leader for Egon Zehnder International, a global executive talent consultancy where he was responsible for global IT design, development, deployment and operations. He continues his work with IT advising start-up companies including Coffeeseed and SmartEye Technologies.

Jon and his wife, Susan have two sons, Morgan and Taylor.
