This month, JF&CS partnered with the Global Village Project, a Decatur-based nonprofit that provides free education to refugee girls, to deliver fresh groceries to 30 students and their families – feeding 200 individuals overall.
JF&CS is committed to this collaboration and plans to deliver groceries twice a month through the end of September.
Thanks to the generosity of our Supporters
Together, the organizations have distributed approximately 2,000 pounds of food, all thanks to donations from people in our community. In this time of need, JF&CS is incredibly grateful for the generosity of our donors and looks forward to continuing to support the larger community.
We anticipate and are fulfilling similar needs for the remainder of the summer and will be available for those families into the start of the school year.
