Priority List of COVID-19 Needs for Food Pantry

Below are the most needed food and household items. We can also use more bags, and we’ll gladly take gift cards!

Support the food pantry and JF&CS programs

Most Needed:

  • Nutritious soups
  • Small bags of rice (1 lb and 2 lbs)
  • Matzah and crackers
  • Milk that doesn’t need refrigeration
  • Tomatoes/spaghetti sauce
  • Cereal
  • Reasonable amounts of fresh produce with long shelf life (apples, Sweet potatoes, onions, etc.

Next Priority

  • Tuna/salmon
  • Peanut butter
  • Mac n cheese
  • Canned fruit – with a long shelf life
  • snacks
  • And, always welcomed - Jelly
  • Canned veggies, but NOT green beans & corn
  • Pasta
  • Ensure and other liquid meals

Household Requests

  • OTC Ibuprofen & generic Tylenol
  • Facial and toilet tissue
  • Incontinence pads
  • Disposable gloves
  • Soap
  • Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes

Passover Foods

  • Matzo
  • Gefilte Fish
  • Matzo ball soup mix
  • Potato kugel mix
  • Macaroons
  • Grape Juice

How You Can Donate Food & Household Items

Household products and Kosher food items can be dropped off at Entrance B of our Dunwoody campus on TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS between the hours of 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Barrels will be located in the vestibule of the entrance. No one will need to come into the building. Congregation Or VeShalom will also be accepting donations.
