Havinagala: Party for PAL at BAR{n}

Havinagala is Back!

Start 2022 off right with the best party of the year, Havinagala! Socialize, play awesome games, and enjoy dinner and drinks at BAR{n} with friends. Now celebrating its 32nd year, Havinagala is the largest Jewish young adult fundraiser in Atlanta. Havinagala raises funds for JF&CS’s PAL Program, Atlanta’s only Jewish Big Brother/Big Sister program.

The PAL Program matches children ages 5-17 with young adult professionals. The Big PALs serve as a role model and friend to their Little PAL, who are being raised in a variety of family situations, such as with single parents, grandparents, or they may have a sibling with a developmental disability. Big and Little PALs get together twice a month for fun activities like movies, playing video games, or whatever the Little PAL finds interesting. The caring and unconditional friendship that Big PALs bring helps their Little PALs grow their confidence, build self-esteem, and further embrace their Jewish identity.

This year, Havinagala will be held at BAR{n} in Dunwoody Village. Enjoy craft cocktails and food fit for the most enthusiastic foodies. The event will also feature a silent auction with unique items and experiences. In addition, the Joel Libowsky Big PAL of the Year award will be presented.

Havinagala will be held on Saturday, March 5 from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm. If you purchase your tickets on Cyber Monday, you can get them for their lowest price at $70. After Cyber Monday, they will be $80. And if you wait until the day of the event to buy tickets at the door, they are $100. We recommend you don’t wait; Havinagala is known to sell out, and capacity is limited this year due to COVID-19. Please note that we will be adhering to COVID-19 protocols to make this a safe and fun event for everybody. For more details, please see below.*
