Parenting After Abuse: Shalom Bayit Starting New Group

Through our Shalom Bayit (Peace in the Home) program at JF&CS, we are excited to offer a new educational support group: Parenting After Abuse: Mothers Raising Children Exposed to Domestic Violence. This group, grant-funded and at no cost to participants, will offer support and education surrounding challenges of survivors raising children. Shalom Bayit services are non-sectarian and open to all survivors. We plan to begin the group in July.

This group provides a confidential setting to connect with other mothers who have experienced relationship abuse. You will have opportunities to share experiences, discuss the challenges of co-parenting with an abusive partner, learn strategies to help support your children and restore belief in your own parenting. 8-week group at no cost to participants.
