Lauren Rovick is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with behavioral and emotional struggles. She is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), as well as Somatic and Attachment Focused (SAFE) EMDR.

Before joining JF&CS, Lauren worked at CHRIS 180 where she provided individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults dealing with different areas of mental health. Lauren has several years of experience working with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder/trauma related disorders, academic & school concerns, grief & loss, identity issues, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and individuals impacted by domestic violence.

Lauren takes a strengths-based approach and works to join clients wherever they are in their therapeutic journey. She believes in supporting individuals to reach their potential and be their own agents of healing and change. Lauren also has a passion for giving parents the knowledge and tools to understand and enhance child-parent attachment and relationships.

Lauren earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University, and her Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina.
