Jessica Katz Yonatan Named New Director of Development for JF&CS Atlanta

Jewish Family & Career Services (JF&CS) Atlanta named Jessica Katz Yonatan its new Director of Development.

In her new role as director of development, Jessica will help lead fundraising efforts for the nonsectarian social services agency that supports individuals and families on their journeys toward a better quality of life by making hope and opportunity happen.

“JF&CS is thrilled to have recently hired Jessica as director of development,” said Faye Dresner, chief programs officer and interim CEO of JF&CS. “Jessica brings a variety of professional fundraising experience plus an analytical mind, a deep understanding of fundraising best practices, and she is a critical thinker with a calm demeanor – the perfect combination for an effective development director.”

Yonatan was attracted to Jewish Family & Career Services because of its compassionate care and service of individuals and families. She looks forward to helping JF&CS expand funding sources to reach more families and help them continue their journeys toward a better quality of life and increased self-sufficiency

An Atlanta native, she completed her undergraduate degree at University of Georgia and earned her Master of Social Work and Certificate in Jewish Communal Service at Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work. Yonatan began her nonprofit career at the Jewish Federations in Sarasota and Atlanta before moving to Israel for a few years. Upon her return from Israel, she worked for Birthright Israel Foundation in Atlanta.
