BeWellATL is hosting comedian Pamela Schuller for two laughter-filled events — one for teens, and one for parents and guardians — aimed at empowering families to build resilience and navigate mental health challenges.
About Pamela Schuller
Pamela is now a professional comedian (you may know her from Netflix’s Jewish Matchmaking and the popular Dr. Mike Youtube Channel) and international mental health and disability advocate, but she was once a teen with her own mental health struggles. Her diagnoses of severe Tourette Syndrome — at that point hers was determined to be the worst case in the entire country — and OCD led to severe depression and recurrent thoughts of suicide in her teenage years. Pamela learned over time to accept and celebrate her differences and appreciate what makes her unique, and has turned her struggles into important advocacy work. Her approach blends her signature laugh-out-loud humor with real life experience, earning her the respect of audiences of all ages.
