Mitzvah Day

Mitzvah Day

Mitzvah Day was a tremendous success!

More than 200 volunteers comprised of young professionals and families with children and teens participated in approximately 10 projects, including a lemonade stand fundraiser, restocking the JF&CS food pantry and assembling a 3-course meal for the 7 homes in the JF&CS Independent Living Program. It was a day of inspiration and good deeds.

Thank you to all who helped organize the activities and to everyone who participated.

We are especially grateful to Sam Paulen and Dana Heyman, Young Professionals Mitzvah Day Co-chairs; and Adi Feen, Laura Holtzclaw, and Ilana Shure, Family Volunteers Mitzvah Day Co-chairs. We also thank our partners for their added support: Repair The World, Moishe House, Honeymoon Israel, NextGen, PJ Library, and Temple Sinai.
