Golden is JF&CS’ volunteer portal that allows you to sign up for shifts and log your hours. Use the guides below to learn how to log your hours or sign up for shifts in the portal.

How to Log Hours in Golden

Desktop or Web Browser:

  • Log in HERE
  • Click the drop-down menu under your name in the top right-hand corner choose My Opportunities. You should see your volunteer program. Then, click Log Time for your opportunity.

DOWNLOAD THE GOLDEN VOLUNTEER APP HERE

Android: Log in. Select the menu button in the top left-hand corner. Choose My Golden Opportunities, then Log Time.

iPhone: Log in. Select the Activities button from the bottom menu. Locate your opportunity, then Log Time.

How to Sign Up for Shifts

Computer or web browser instructions:

  • Sign in using your email & password at https://volunteer.jfcsatl.org.
    • Note: You may need to complete the Forgot Password steps to assign a password
  • Choose the volunteer opportunity in the Find Opportunities menu
  • Select dates (you can select more than 1 at a time)
  • Click  Sign Up to confirm your shift(s)
  • Cancel or edit shifts on the My Opportunities section in the top-right dropdown menu

Mobile App instructions:

  • Download Golden app HERE and sign in.
  • On the Discover tab, use the search bar to find ‘JF&CS’
  • Click on your volunteer opportunity, select your dates, and click Sign Up

FAQ

1. I don’t have a password for Golden. How do I log in?

  • Your email is already registered in Golden. To set or reset your password, select ‘Forgot My Password’ and follow the prompts


2. For my volunteer assignment, I sign up for shifts. Do I need to manually log my volunteer hours?

  • No. For shift-based volunteer opportunities, you will use the check-on kiosk at main reception to track your attendance. JF&CS staff can also assist with taking your attendance. Shift-based volunteer opportunities include: Art Collective, Giving Gardener, and Kosher Food Pantry


3. Who needs to manually log their volunteer hours?

  • If you volunteer for the following programs, you need to submit your volunteer hours at least every month so we can measure your impact:
    • Bikkur Cholim, Café Europa, Clinical Reception & Intake, Committees, Office & Program Support, One Good Deed, PAL, Renterpieces, and/or Signature Events
  • Use the instructions above to log hours from home or if you visit the office, use the check-in kiosk at Reception to log in and out
