Information

During the 1980s and the 1990s, Dr. Jack Kevorkian - nicknamed "Dr. Death" or "The Mercy Doctor" depending on your stance! - introduced the world to the practice of Physician-Assisted Suicide (PAS). Since then, PAS has remained one of the most hot-topic issues of our modern world. This program will introduce PAS and will discuss the Trials of Dr. Kevorkian and the ramifications of his actions during the latter half of the twentieth-century and the ways in which these actions continue to impact elderly and terminally ill citizens of the United States today.
