ABOUT Dr. Carrie Poline:
Carrie Poline, DO, FAPA, is a double-board certified practitioner in child & adolescent and adult psychiatry specializing in eating, anxiety, mood, and child behavioral disorders and is a certified eating disorder specialist. Dr. Poline is in private practice in Sandy Springs, GA. Dr. Poline received her bachelor’s degree with honors in Psychology and Biology at Washington University in St. Louis and completed her post-graduate training in adult and child/adolescent psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Poline served as Medical Director of The Atlanta Center for Eating Disorders and supervising psychiatrist at The Renfrew Center. She is a member of the Atlanta Chapter of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp), The Academy of Eating Disorders, APA and AACAP. Dr. Poline is an adjunct faculty member of Emory University's Department of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry where she has taught and supervised residents. Dr. Poline was presented with the inaugural award of "Exceptional Women in Medicine" and recognized as one of the "Top Docs of Atlanta" by Castle Connelly from 2017-2024.
