1. Learn about recent data on social isolation across life span

2. Consider the value of social connection and how it impacts social/emotional health

3. Discuss applicability of social connection across age groups

4. Engage in experiential activity: “Quadrants” (moving towards/away peace of mind & moments of joy)

5. Engage in experiential activity: “3-2-1” (subjectively managing peace of mind, moments of joy and gratitude)

6. Receive a list of local resources to promote social wellness for patient populations



ABOUT DANIEL EPSTEIN:


Daniel Epstein specializes in therapy for young adults and teens dealing with depression, trauma, self-esteem, anxiety and relationship challenges, as well as addiction. He also works with folks having issues with life direction and overall life satisfaction. He is experienced with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy often centered around creating clear goals and wellness-based outcomes. He often blends these approaches with experiential and body-based therapies to facilitate understanding and lasting change. He believes deeply in one's own inner wisdom and ability to change, no matter what the circumstances have been.
