ABOUT CAROL BECK:
Carol Beck is the Associate Director for Operations and Communications at the Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion-Based Ethics at Emory University. In this role, she supports research initiatives, facilitates partner programs, and spearheads outreach, marketing, and communications for CBCT® and other center programs. A certified Senior Instructor of CBCT® (Cognitively-Based Compassion Training), she has studied, practiced and facilitated various types of meditation for more than twenty years. Beck has taught CBCT to healthcare providers, educators, and the general public. In 2022, she co-facilitated the training of the first cohort of certified CBCT teachers in India.
