As an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist, Lauren serves as the agency’s first Leadership & Engagement Officer. With a background in talent management, Lauren works to set the strategic direction of the agency’s volunteer engagement efforts, developing volunteers at every level to effectively carry out JF&CS’ mission and strategy alongside our dedicated professionals. Lauren has been a volunteer herself for JF&CS since 2005 and had the privilege of serving on the JF&CS Board for 11 years. Ironically, her first involvement with the agency was through JF&CS’ lay leadership development program, now Kay Family Leadership Series, which she currently leads to strategically create a pipeline for JF&CS’ Board. Lauren holds a B.A. in Psychology from Emory University and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from The University of Georgia. When she is not working, she is can be found volunteering or exploring the food scene with her husband and two children.

Sarah started at JF&CS in 2020, where she oversees young professional development and the PAL Program, Atlanta’s only Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters. Sarah loves working with young professionals looking to be more involved in the Jewish Atlanta community. Sarah attended Eastern Michigan University, earning a degree in social work. She lives in Virginia Highland with her daughter, Harper.
