Speakers: Rebecca Brown, LCSW, BeWellATL Manager

Rebecca Brown is a licensed clinical social worker and the manager of BeWellATL, a teen mental health initiative.  Facilitating programs for youth and adults, Rebecca provides education and programming to the Jewish community around mental health awareness, domestic violence, healthy relationships and empowerment.  Rebecca received her Master’s in Social Work from New York University and has a background providing therapeutic services in child welfare, community outpatient mental health and program evaluation for foster care support and safety. In addition, Rebecca provides individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults experiencing various mental health challenges.

Sarah French, LCSW

Sarah is certified in CBT through the Academy of Cognitive Therapy and CPT for trauma survivors. Her expertise includes anxiety, depression, domestic violence, and parenting. After graduating from The University of Georgia with an undergraduate degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social work, Sarah provided family therapy for parents and children with emotional and behavioral struggles at Youth Villages. Some of her other experiences include performing group therapy for teenagers in a high school and working as a Clinical Supervisor at an out-patient mental health clinic. Sarah was an intern at JF&CS in 2009 and came back in 2017 to join the clinical team.
