Graphic Designer Position

Jewish Family & Career Services of Atlanta (JF&CS) provides health, career and human services to support and enhance the well-being of individuals and families across all ages, faiths, cultures and lifestyles. Its more than 30 programs serve a variety of populations, including children, teens, parents and older adults.

JF&CS is now seeking a Graphic Designer. The Graphic Designer will provide exceptional, high-quality print and digital graphic design and production support for agency brand, fundraising, service areas/programs, and special projects as needed.


Digital Graphic Design:

  • Responsible for concepting, developing, and executing producing a wide range of strategic, excellent, high-impact, cost-effective communication tactics (including print and digital production, press-ready and web-ready files). Includes: ads, signage, collateral, web banners, e-blasts, digital and print newsletters, brochures, reports, event materials, social media, ppt presentations, and other as required.
  • Create and execute consistent communications based on Brand Style Guide Standards.
  • Work with Chief Marketing Officer and Marketing Team to translate Creative Brief and more informal discussions into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs.
  • Utilize creative best practices for response-driven results.
  • Participate & conceptualize at a high level about marketing and creative strategy and how it translates into design.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert on design across all platforms - digital, print, mobile, social, email, etc.
  • Responsible for working with Content Manager and Marketing Team to house and maintain central repository of all creative assets including photography, video, art files, logos, all assets – all the time.

Website Creative:

  • Create and execute pop ups, landing pages, emails and other digital assets for Craft CMS (existing JF&CS website), Wordpress, (AgeWell and other) and Luminate Online (fundraising website) as needed.


  • Must have 3+ years of design experience.
  • Must be a conceptual and visual thinker.
  • Must have proven experience in executing creative concepts – including print and web production.
  • Must have an understanding of key marketing principles & how they relate to business goals.
  • Must have demonstrated team participation experience.
  • Must have the ability to meet deadlines on numerous concurrent projects.
  • Must be able to produce extremely high quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, PhotoShop, etc.)
  • Must have experience designing digital marketing campaigns including social media and be familiar with email marketing best practices.
  • Must possess a strong knowledge and proven execution of responsive design.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Education required commensurate to position.
