More about Marcus

Marcus's Bio

Marcus is a graduate student at Smith College School for Social Work, a clinical social work program grounded in a psychodynamic perspective. Previously, Marcus worked at a community mental health agency focused on servicing individuals affected by HIV/AIDS, homelessness and substance use. Marcus also holds a Master of Divinity degree from the Interdenominational Theological Center and has served as a hospital chaplain for several years. All of these experiences have shaped Marcus into a clinician who is concerned with issues of radical inclusivity, self-awareness and healing. His clinical experience is rooted in a holistic, relational, trauma-informed perspective that supports clients in journeying toward deeper wells of wholeness. Marcus’s particular clinical interests are inner-child work, new masculinities, sexuality and spirituality.
