As the Volunteer Services Manager, Deena provides strategic leadership and direct support for JF&CS’ volunteer program as the primary contact for Volunteers and Board Members.

Deena has also served more than seven years in other JF&CS programs including Aviv, Older Adult Services, Careers and Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Services providing program and grant management, community outreach, training, career counseling and case management for a diverse spectrum of clients.

Earlier in her JF&CS tenure, she led Committee Chair training and helped create and facilitate leadership development modules for the Kay Tools for Leaders Program. Deena also worked as the Volunteer Manager for Senior Services North Fulton, managing over 400 volunteers in a variety of programs and projects.

Deena has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master’s degree in Counseling and Mental Health, with a concentration in Organizational Development from California State University, East Bay. Deena began her Atlanta career as the Director of Counseling for a regional outplacement firm before building a successful consulting and coaching practice. She specializes in collaborative program building working to inspire others toward growth and development.
