Presented by Juliet Mandelzweig, Body Psychotherapist and Trauma Touch Therapist
This 1.5 hour CEU session that is awaiting approval from the GSCSW will cover the following objectives:
• Understand an in depth look at the body-mind view on holistic digestion, mindfulness in nutrition, and self nourishment.
• Examine self care and mindful eating, both through the eyes of PTSD, and through the eyes of the potential vicarious trauma of the care givers of PTSD.
• Understand an embodied example of mindful eating via a practical demonstration with group participation.

Juliet is one of the founders of Safe Touch for Trauma® Therapy in Israel and is a certified body psychotherapist with over 20 years in both clinical and pedagogic experience. She held the position of senior lecturer in medical massage therapy, pregnancy and infant massage at the Tel Aviv University School of Holistic Medicine, and the Open University School of Integrative Health. She has also lectured on Pediatric and Infant Massage, and touch as a therapeutic intervention in infants, children and trauma in the Departments of Occupational Therapy at the Tel Aviv University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Juliet is on the clinical staff of Natal – Israel Trauma Center for Victims of Terror and War for the past 19 years, and on the therapeutic staff of the Rape Crisis Centers in Israel and is an Associate member of the European Association of Body Psychotherapy (EABP).
